Has Portugal been on your list of places to visit for a long time and you just haven't made the trip? Or perhaps it's a new blip on your travel radar and you are still deciding if it's worthy of your hard earned holiday travels. Well, maybe our list of recommendations we have compiled can help you make Portugal your next travel destination!

As we continue to explore this amazing country, we have been adding to our favorite places, allowing us to curate an extensive list of restaurants, bars, points of interest, sightseeing spots and more.

What will you find in this guide? Well, since we have such a love affair with food, it's mostly a list of our favorite restaurants we have experienced from Porto to Lisbon to The Algarve to our home town of Setubal. But you will also find our favorite beaches, excursions, sight seeing, and tourist attractions........

Originally this list lived in the notes section of our phones and we would share it with friends who were considering vacationing here. Since we have been experiencing so many new places, we decided to convert it from a phone note to an interactive google doc that we could reference ourselves and make it an easily sharable document that can now accessed HERE.

Note that this list isn't just fabricated from a top 10 google search..... it's compiled from personal experiences, and if a place didn't wow us, it didn't make the list. As we continue to discover new places that capture our hearts we'll update the doc with more hidden gems and must-see attractions. So feel free to use it as you wish, bookmark it and check back often to see what's new.
